First Practice of The Season

So it's time for story time with Renee.
Today we had out first softball practice of the season, and everything was going super well. I was having so much fun, until my coach decided it would be fun to put me as catcher...Not a good idea! Most of the people that were up to bat were pretty good, and were able to hit the ball, so I didn't come in contact with the ball that much, until, one person actually missed. It was the first extremely hard ball that was coming my way (That's what she said) But in all seriousness, it was really fast, and I had never been catcher before, nor, did I want to. It was also the end of the practice, so my coach told me not to bother putting any of the gear on except the helmet, which doesn't seem bad, but holy crap was it scary! So someone had finally missed the ball and it was coming straight for mt face, so I legit, curled up into a ball and lied on the ground....Well, you can tell I would be a fantastic catcher! But no, it was really scary! For those of you who don't know this, softballs are really big and heavy, so it was really terrifying, plus, I didn't have any of the equipment on, which made it even worse. That's one fail story about me...don't worry, I am sure there are many more to come.
